Reframing the abundance mindset during the economic inflation era

How the "premiuminization" of the economy really forces entrepreneurs to be creative on how we address capital inefficiencies

In these tough economic/political times, it’s very easy to get lost in media diet where scarcity/fear become the norm and we activate our fight/flight cycles.

The reality is that capital and resources are poorly allocated by design in society. End of discussion.

We have more money/wealth in this world than previous generations - yet there are incredible capital inefficiencies in every sector of the workforce and consumer society.

Inflation really is a result when our infrastructure/logistics have not kept up with productivity and there is a mis-match of goods, services, and people - thus costs go up.

Unlocking that abundance mindset means recognizing that - you can be part of that solution by breaking those capital inefficiencies and unleashing human potential.

It requires a reframing of our mind, body, and soul in terms of how we discipline ourselves.

In the post COVID-19 inflation era, we must reframe the abundance mindset from one of optimistic endless resources to having the daily discipline/resourcefulness to be able to deliver when time & resources are scarce.

How we maximize our talent, skillset, and resources - how we stand up for ourselves, and maximize our teams strengths and future trajectories.

In the post-COVID 19 zero interest rate inflation era, yes this really means a new language of navigating this changing society.

The abundance mindset when I graduated university 10+ years ago meant it was very easy to raise VC money for a “Uber for cats” or “AirBnB for dogs” during a zero-interest rate era, and claim that "you are forward thinking”.

The reality is that we don’t live in that era anymore.

We have to reframe the abundance mindset to one of pragmatic strategy mixed with cautious optimism, not the Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory. This is what most people get wrong (including myself at times).

Daily discipline allows us to not only just preach abundance mindset, but be able to deliver it during chaos/calamity. This is a much more important skillset now.

This is a far better signal of strength we must practice if we want to make it out alive during this new era we are about to embark on.
