Why write?

Because there are sometimes certain things that don’t fit into the traditional capitalist paradigm / model of utility, efficiency, or productivity.

Financial independence & wealth generation are all very important, don’t get me wrong. But we sometimes need to decouple ourselves from that treadmill once in a while otherwise we become too attached to that mental model.

But I found myself burnt out from a lot of AR marketing related gigs (I still do them since I enjoy the creative challenges).

I’ve been grappling a lot with a lot of societal changes that seem to be happening simultaneously.

It’s mentally exhausting - you feel really compelled to serve, there’s a sense of personal responsibility, but you’re also incredibly saddened by constant political gridlock.

What’s within my control is my ability to write. My hope is that the written word can contribute to changes in the broader ecosystem/environment that addresses many of these structural problems.
